OnePlus 6T Windows 11 user ports, runs PC games including Modern Warfare 2

If you own a OnePlus 6T and want to play Windows-based PC games, via the smartphone, it seems possible according to a report from MSPowerUser. The report states that you can play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, among other popular games like Prototype and Need for Speed: Most Wanted on the OnePlus 6T on Windows 10 or Windows 11.

According to the report, Polish YouTuber Adrian “edi194”Misiak has posted various videos of running Windows PC games on the OnePlus 6T. Plus, Modern Warfare isn’t the only game you can play on your smartphone, either. The hacker allegedly tried to play multiple PC games on the device. Check out its Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 gameplay in the video below.

The user could also previously run Microsoft’s latest operating system, Windows 10, on the OnePlus 6T, as suggested by other videos on his channel. It is currently running the Insider version of Windows 11 on the device.

The benchmark scores for Windows 11 performance on the Snapdragon 845 were also revealed by the user. As of the Geekbench 5 benchmark, the device scores 467 and 1746 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. On 3D Mark, it got a score of 2834, with a graphics score of 2942 and a CPU score of 2346.

Although the report states that Windows 11 can run on the Snapdragon 845 chipset to some extent, the experience is not without its problems. The report says WiFi, audio, mobile data, sensors, and “pretty much everything else” are not working. On the other hand, the touch screen, USB connections and Bluetooth would be functional. The report also shows a workaround for WiFi and audio, via Ethernet dongle and Bluetooth audio.
