Hogwarts Legacy – Collector’s Edition Unboxing Video
A new Hogwarts Legacy gameplay trailer shown yesterday showed off the forces of evil.
Revealed as part of Gamescom’s Opening Night Live, the trailer showed the main character performing “Crucio”, an unforgivable curse.
Warner Bros. and Portkey Games recently announced that Hogwarts Legacy has been delayed to 2023.
In a post on Twitter, the company said: “Hogwarts Legacy will launch on February 10, 2023 on PlayStation, Xbox and PC. The Nintendo Switch launch date will be revealed soon.
“The team is delighted that you are playing, but we need a little more time to provide the best possible gaming experience.”
Although official Hogwarts Legacy news has been hard to come by, eager fans have pored over old footage and the game’s official website to try and find new information.
One fan even managed to access hidden files on the Hogwarts Legacy website, revealing the contents of the game’s Collector’s and Deluxe editions.
Developed by Avalanche Software (Disney Infinity), the title is described as an open-world RPG that takes players beyond Hogwarts to new and familiar places as they “live the unwritten and embark on a journey dangerous to discover a hidden truth of the wizarding world.”
To be published under Warner’s Portkey Games label, Hogwarts Legacy was originally scheduled for release in 2021 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. However, last year Warner Bros postponed the game’s release window to 2022. It will now release in 2023.
