CD Projekt has confirmed that they plan to release more than one game as part of the next major chapter in The Witcher series.
The company revealed in March that its next Witcher game would launch “a new saga” for the franchise.
Asked for more details during CD Projekt’s first-half earnings call on Wednesday, chairman and co-CEO Adam Kiciński said the company plans to release a number of new Witcher titles.

“We have more than one in mind,” he confirmed. “The first saga was three games, so now we’re thinking of more than one game, but we’re in pre-production on the first game of the second Witcher saga.”
The company previously confirmed that the open-world title is built with Epic Games‘ Unreal Engine, rather than its proprietary RED engine, which powered previous Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 games.
During Wednesday’s earnings call, Kiciński also said the updated version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is “on track” to release on next-gen consoles and PCs later this year. .
CD Projekt claimed in April that The Witcher franchise has shipped over 65 million units, including over 40 million copies of The Witcher 3.
