Apex Legends Mobile just released, and it is one of the most popular apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. However, some people don’t want to be limited to their Android or iPhone for a multitude of reasons. We will therefore investigate if you can play Apex Mobile on PC with an emulator and if it violates the terms of service.
Can you play Apex Mobile on PC?
You can play Apex Legends Mobile on PC, but it’s not as simple as installing the game and launching it. Since the game is designed for Android and iOS (which use the ARM instruction set), you cannot install it natively on Windows. Instead, you should use an Android emulator to interpret the instructions into a form your computer can understand.
Although there are third-party emulators that you can install to play Android games on PC, you don’t have to worry about that for Apex Legends Mobile. Tencent is one of the few studios to offer a proprietary solution for playing certain mobile titles on PC.
To get started you will need to download game loop, Tencent’s official Android emulator, and install it like any other program. Once installed, add Apex Mobile through the splash screen and it will automatically download. Once the download is complete, you can launch the game. The touch controls will be automatically mapped to your mouse and keyboard or gamepad, so you’ll be immediately ready to start playing.
However, don’t think you’re going to let other players down like flies because you’re playing on PC. The game knows that you are using an emulator and you will only encounter other players who are doing the same. This is the case for all titles supported by GameLoop, including Call of Duty Mobile, PUBG Mobile, Arena of Balor, Freefire, and League of Legends Wild Rift.
